1. What are climate change and weather?
The state of the atmosphere at a certain location and time is known as the weather. Every day, the weather changes.
An area's average weather over a lengthy time span (30–35 years) is its climate. Climate change is slow.

2. Climate-related factors in Namibia
A semi-arid climate, such as Whindhoek, receives 300–500 mm of rain.
Sub-tropical Climate: The northeast, such as Katima Mulilo, receives more rain (500–700 mm).

2. Climate-related factors in Namibia
Latitude: Namibia is hot since it is close to the Tropic of Capricorn.
Distance from the sea: The Benguela current cools Swakopmund, whereas the interior (Whidhoek) is hotter.
Altitude: Whindhoek is colder than Oshakati since it is higher (160 m).
Ocean currents: The chilly Bengula current produces fog and minimal rain around the coast.
3. Namibia's climate types
Coastal desert regions, such as Swakopmund and Luderitz, have extremely dry weather, little precipitation (less than 50 mm), chilly temperatures, and fog.
